NEW GUIDO TRAINING CENTER OPENED IN JANUARY

 An entirely new program to train individuals in Christian ministry began on January 5, 2009 on the campus of the Guido Evangelistic Association. The Center replaces the Michael Guido School of Evangelism at Brewton-Parker College, expands the curriculum and offers instruction in Biblical Studies, Pastoral Ministry and Church Leadership. The basic program of study is the Certificate in Biblical Studies which may be completed in one year. Upon completion of the Certificate program, students will then qualify for the other programs which will begin in 2010.

The mission of the Center is to “educate and equip individuals with skills and knowledge to promote and proclaim” the Christian message through the local church. The comprehensive program will include studies in worship, evangelism, discipleship and service and enable students to serve more effectively as ministers or laymen.

REVELATION AND GOD
This course is a comprehensive study of the methods God uses today to community to individuals who are seeking to understand and know His will for their lives.  It includes a study of Scripture, prayer, worship and fellowshipping with other Christians

OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY
This study of the Old Testament will present an overview of all of the books of the Old Testament, who wrote them, why they are included in the Bible, and what their message means for today's Christian.
